About Me

With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years holding 3 contractor licenses, I'm ContractorDave, a seasoned leader in management, construction, consulting and business ownership. My latest achievement is the opportunity to author a chapter of an ICC publication distributed internationally specifically in regards to foundation creation and installation for the manufactured home and Tiny Home industry. My journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to excellence in both craftsmanship and project management.

From Manufacturing to Construction

My managerial voyage commenced at the age of 21, where I honed my leadership skills as a line supervisor in a local manufacturing company. Swiftly, I ascended the ranks to become a plant manager. But the call of construction beckoned, leading me to a lifelong career in the industry.

Mastering Construction

My journey continued as a Manager at a local remodel construction company, where I acquired the core skills of the construction trade. I progressed to become a construction and maintenance supervisor at a prominent hospice care facility before specializing in plumbing construction, repair, and service.

Plumbing Expertise

At the age of 30, I embraced the role of the exclusive Roto-Rooter Contractor for the Fresno County operation. It was here that I fully developed my expertise in plumbing construction and underground work, becoming a recognized authority in the field.

Pier Manufacturing and Beyond

In 2002, I assumed the role of General Manager for a leading pier manufacturing company in Fresno, a position I held until 2012. During this time, I established a Manufactured Home construction division within the company, catering to numerous local and statewide communities.

Leadership in Manufactured Homes

My deep involvement in the Manufactured Home Construction Industry led me to specialize in foundation engineering and the intricate web of California's testing and approval requirements. I've trained countless contractors and workers in the installation of these systems and advised government officials and inspectors statewide.

Venturing into Tiny Homes

Today, I'm embarking on a new frontier: the Tiny Home Industry. My extensive background in underground utility repair, Manufactured Homes, and all facets of construction, combined with a knack for navigating governmental processes, positions me perfectly to simplify the journey of homeowners.
